    Road from Beideck to Schilling

This picture shows the good part of the road. In many places, the ruts in the road are so deep that a car can't pass, and you have to drive in the adjacent fields to get by.

What remains of the old mill in Schilling

The old mill was built near the river bank in Schilling. When the Volga River was dammed long after most German-Russians had left the area, ice from winter freezes on the river destroyed the mill.
